Thinking Activity: Waiting for Godot

Waiting for Godot:

1)- It is connected to this play because country road is symbolized homelessness and vagabond type of idea so, both characters has no home for shelter so it appropriate to this play also describing condition of that kind of people, tree is part of nature and as part of nature's cycle autumn and spring come and goes it's like universal law of nature death /birth and salvation so , we can see someway that dots connected to visualizing setting in writers view.

2)- In second act the tree grown some leaves its shows archetypal idea about life,death and reborn. nature is cycle of life.

3)-. Moon shows the light of positiveness and hope for new day come with new things and full fill our wishes of life. It also reflected meaninglessness of waiting.

4)- Debris shows the uselessness and selfishness of human after using the materials they through out side and it shows some waiting for purification.nothing is permanent in this world.

5)- The play begins with the dialogue "Nothing to be done".and also Estragon speaks that “Nothing happens, nobody comes, nobody goes, and it’s awful!”. Nothingness is main theme of this play and we can see that in this play these all characters they are doing insignificant activities meaninglessly.
